At the Summer Car Jam, rock ‘n’ roll giants perform to a lot packed with cars ready to partake in the world’s most enjoyable traffic jam. Mark Farner, the lead singer and guitarist of Grand Funk Railroad, rocks out classics such as “I’m Your Captain (Closer to Home)” and “Some Kind of Wonderful,” and Shooting Star blazes through early ’80s hits such as “Touch Me Tonight” and “You’ve Got What I Need.” Canadian guitar wizard Pat Travers, a hero to fellow axmen such as Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, makes fret-riders drool with his driving six-string antics.
