Mat Franco
When Mat was 4 years old, he saw magic on TV for the first time. From there his path was clear: he went from performing tricks in his kindergarten class to studying under his idol Jeff McBride in Vegas. But his biggest break would come in 2014. During season nine of America’s Got Talent, Mat wowed the judges, ruined and revived Mel B’s iPhone, tore up at least one seat, and wound up the first magician ever to win the $1 million prize. More importantly, though, Mat won over the nation with his expert sleight of hand and personality-driven set-ups.

About Mat Franco
The Venue at Horseshoe Casino offers big city entertainment from just outside the big city. Revelers pile into the casino's complimentary shuttles and set off for Hammond, where penny slots and game tables await before they file into The Venue. The acts taking the stage could land anywhere on the live spectacle spectrum: Penn & Teller might combine comedy and magic with the sound of only one person talking, MMA fighters could get adrenaline pumping, or Huey Lewis and the News could inspire audience sing-alongs.
