What You’ll Do

In Tokyo, Taiwan, and Paris, cat cafes draw throngs of fans who are willing to wait patiently in line for their turn to finally step inside. These globally popular cafes are still new to the United States, but you can get a taste of what they’re all about at Tony Wang’s own iteration, The Cat Cafe. During his private events, small groups can sip on locally roasted espresso drinks and coffee before venturing into the playroom, where a playful pack of adoptable cats awaits new friends to bond with.

• Helpful for Humans
  Spending time with a cat can reduce stress, ease anxiety, and release endorphins. It’s also just fun.

• Helpful for Cats
  The feline residents of the cafe come from local relief organizations that select cats who will thrive in a playful environment. All the cats are looking for forever homes, especially the older and special needs kitties who need new, loving families.

• There’s Coffee, Too
  An impressive menu of espresso drinks highlight the beans of local shops West Coast Coffee Roasters and Cafe Virtuoso.
