Choose a boxing package with the benefit of helping improve power, fitness and agility, toning and strengthening your body and improving your coordination, balance and cardiovascular health.
Our training philosophy focuses on training as an individual with the guidance of a coach. In this process, the coach will instruct you in repeatedly performing drills. The coach will continually observe you and instruct you on how to change your movement such that the skill that you are learning is done at its highest level.
One such routine that a program adheres to looks as follows:
- 3 Rounds of Jump Rope
- 3 Rounds of Footwork
- 3 Rounds of Punching the Heavy Bag
- 3 Rounds of Speed Bag
- Skill Based Training
- Conditioning (depending on the day)
At Gopa Boxing Club, we are building a community that supports each other on their goals and looks out for the adults and youth in the area. We value respect, kindness, and growth.

Boxing shoes, Boxing Wraps, And Gloves are required.
(Note: We do not provide communal gloves and wraps due to health reasons.)

About Gopa Boxing Club
Gopa Boxing Club has 20-plus years of training Oakland youth, some who have started with him as young as 10 years old, and Adults, who are new to the sport.
This is a community gym here to support those in the Bay Area. We are extremely local and looking for those who value a community that respects each other and helps each other grow.
We are especially inclusive for those of all identities and backgrounds.
