What You'll Get
Ballerinas are notorious for their infatuation with crowds of elegantly dressed people, which is why they undergo years of rigorous training for just a glimpse of them. Watch ballerinas watching you with today's Groupon: for $15, you get one ticket to the Russian National Ballet's performance of Swan Lake on March 6 at The Grand Opera House (a $32 value).
A restored relic of vaudevillian days, the sweeping stage of the historic Grand Opera house plays host to a wide variety of world-renowned performances and events. On Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m., its curtains open upon the world famous Russian National Ballet in their rendition of a beloved classic. The company's principal ballerinas bend knees and necks to the tune of Tchaikovsky's tantalizing score, which tells the dark and passionate tale of humans falling in love with swans, swans falling in love with humans, and ugly ducklings feeling out of place. Under the direction of Sergei Radchenko, former principal ballerino in the Bolshoi Ballet, the 50-member Russian National Ballet will flit and fly over The Grand‘s stage like their avian counterparts, seemingly defying gravity and the theater security guards. Seating is assigned on a first come, first served basis; if you wish to sit with another Groupon customer, please present your tickets together at will call.
