What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Unlike most martial arts Jiu-Jitsu isn't an athletic based form of striking. Jiu-Jitsu teaches you to control and subdue an opponent using simple leverage techniques.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
For Father and Son, Steve and Josh, opening their own school and giving others an opportunity to learn Jiu-Jitsu was always a goal. After years of training and competing all over the country they decided it was time to provide Southern Illinois with the most effective martial art in the world.

What do you love most about your job?
"Nothing is better than the relationship between coach and student. Students often think that they are the only ones learning, but as a coach you'd be surprised how much my students have taught me" -Josh McKinney

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
"When people come in for their first class I always start them on the same few moves. One in particular is an escape from someone mounted on top of you. Every single person on their first successful attempt has a huge smile, every single time!" -Josh McKinney
