HIT Fit SF's founder, Simon Redmond, knows a thing or two about the cardio benefits of boxing. The 1999 Golden Gloves champ started opening boxing gyms across San Francisco in 2003, almost 20 years ago. For years, he thought boxing was the pinnacle of high-intensity workouts. But in 2014 he discovered HIIT and found boxing's equal. To get the best of both worlds, he combined both workouts and HIT Fit SF was born.

Inside the 6,500 square foot gym, 28 heavy bags and 30 TRX stations headline a collection of equipment that also includes battle ropes, kettlebells, medicine balls, agility ladders, free weights, rowers, and bikes. Some of the best HIIT, boxing and MMA trainers on the west coast patrol his gyms, helping clients get active with high-energy and fun-filled workouts, with something for all fitness levels.
