Went in around 5:15 for a 5:30PM violin lesson for our daughter. Waited until 6PM and still no lesson so we checked back with the front desk and was told there was a miscommunication with the teacher and that the teacher had stepped out etc. So I asked why would the teacher step out, shouldn't he have been looking for his student if she didn't show up for lesson time?! And then was told the front desk person had actually forgotten to put our daughter on the teacher's list. Why didn't they just admit this from the beginning! So after having wasted 45 minutes waiting, we wasted another 5 minutes being lied to. Front desk person offered another trial lesson but the whole experience was an indication of how disorganized the scheduling can be here so we did not take it. From the beginning I got the feeling that they don't like groupon calls. Then they should just not offer groupons.

About iSchool of Music and Art - Syosset

Ken Benshish and Yi Qian started iSchool of Music and Art in 2005 to provide a positive, supportive learning atmosphere to bring art and music alive in each student. Students aged 3 and older who can’t tell a drumstick from a plectrum and don’t even know the street value of a quarter note can learn piano, drums, guitar, or voice skills from scratch. Students can also discover their inner Picasso with age-appropriate art lessons and accompanying art history. Teachers incorporate various mediums ranging from watercolor and oil pastels to acrylics and graphite.
