Island Cupcakes sets out an array of tongue-tantalizing flavors to satiate frosting-covered desires. The buttercream used in the mini cakes is made of 100% butter, with no traces of margarine, shortening, or bionic engineering. Ward off early-morning jitters at any time of the day with a java cupcake—classic white cake slathered in coffee buttercream. Other cup-sized classics include chocolate peanut butter, double vanilla, and the glamorous red velvet, topped with real chunks of Hollywood carpet. And the shop's island roots are well exposed with tropical flavors such as mango, piña colada, and guava.
Customers can imbibe a number of in-mouth cake melters, such as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate (not included in this deal). Cooler liquids, including Hawaiian drinks and Fiji water, also do a satisfactory job of freeing teeth from cakey hangers-on who refuse to leave quietly.
