Johnna's Cafe is perched just off the Eisenhower Expressway in a narrow, two-story building that could double as someone's home. It's apropos, then, that Johnna's crafts cuisine that tastes like it came directly out of someone's home kitchen. And customers agree. "Quality, authentic soul food made with care. Hard to find these days," muses one reviewer. A few of those soul-food favorites include jerk chicken and cornbread, tilapia with sautéed spinach, and honey-glazed barbecue wings. "It felt like eating at home," shares another regular, adding, "this place not only has good food, but also good people."
