About Kaizenkan Aikido Dojo
Kaizenkan Aikido Dojo is a traditional martial arts school with classes for adults (ages 16) and kids staring at age 6. Our instructors are deeply experienced, with decades of training under their belts. Our head instructor Josh Paul has practiced aikido for more than 25 years, and is a 6-degree black belt.
Kaizen means “change for the better.” It is a philosophy of continuous improvement that emphasizes how small, incremental changes can produce large improvements over time across all aspects of life. It is a philosophy we embrace on and off the mat. KZA is a member of the Aikido World Alliance, an international association of martial arts schools devoted to the transmission and preservation of aikido. Through the AWA, our dojo is directly affiliated with the Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
