As Japan continues to recover from the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami it experienced on March 11, the extent of the disaster’s horrible toll becomes ever more clear. In addition to the more than 10,000 people reported dead and more than 17,000 reported missing, 360,000 more are living in shelters, and an estimated 257,000 homes are without electricity, water, or both.
In an effort to help the people of Japan still reeling from this historic catastrophe, Kemmetmueller Photography is volunteering its resources and the skills of its staff to raise money for American Red Cross's relief efforts. If at least 25 contributions are made to today’s G-Team campaign, Kemmetmueller will provide each donor with a 45-minute family, individual, or baby portrait session, plus proofs and $50 toward prints (a $399 total value). The photo shoots will be conducted either at Kemmetmueller’s 3,000-square-foot indoor studio in Deephaven or at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska. (Donors will not need to pay arboretum admission for photo sessions.)
Kemmetmueller offers prints in 3.5”x5”, 4”x5”, 4”x6”, and 5”x7” sizes ($25 each, unframed), as well as 8”x10” ($50 unframed). Patrons can schedule outdoor sessions for April 2–3, May 6–8, June 3–5, or July 15–17, and indoor sessions can be scheduled for weekends in April–July throughout the day.
Join G-Team and donate $100 to help Kemmetmueller Photography and the American Red Cross aid those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. If G-Team members raise $2,500, Kemmetmueller will provide each donor with the chance to create one or more beautiful, lasting images of themselves or their loved ones, suitable for gifting or simply celebrating cherished relationships. All funds raised will go to benefit the American Red Cross relief efforts in Japan.
