Maureen will be starting up a website soon. She makes awesome caramel and chocolate covered apples. They need to be ordered in advance, but can get almost anything you like on them. We are partial to the apples with raisins and peanuts along with the caramel and chocolate. You can be creative and request them any way you like. It is a treat in our family to cut the apples into wedges and have a couple of pieces for dessert. They also go great with a cup of tea! All the other goodies we have tried were delicious also.

What You'll Get

Before the invention of candy, mankind had to make do with "nature's candy"—fermented cabbage, fruit the monkeys didn't want, and live, feather-covered Peeps. Celebrate man’s triumph over nature with today’s Groupon: for $7, you get $15 worth of candy and sweets at Maureen’s Sweet Shoppe, located in the Heritage Village Shoppes in East Longmeadow.

The confection peddlers at Maureen’s Sweet Shoppe subdue sucrose-craving taste buds with an ample assortment of gourmet chocolates, flavored popcorn, and extreme truffles. Start a sweet-centric dessert excursion with a chocolate-dipped apple, studded with a candy or nut topping ($7–$10), or tickle your tongue with a multihued, retro lollipop ($1–$4). More than 50 varieties of bulk candy, gummies ($8.95 per pound), and 21 colors of M&Ms ($11.99 per pound) stand at the ready to fill candy bags. Or, stock up on America’s favorite cinematic comestible with handmade batches of gourmet, flavor-frosted popcorns ($2.50+), ranging from the traditional caramel to the multifaceted peppermint, which doubles as a snacktime noshable and breath-freshening nibble. Meanwhile, a selection of gourmet chocolates ($15.95–$21.95 per pound), many made daily on site, can sate cocoa yearnings or replace previously eaten chess pieces.
