Miami Life Center offers several levels and types of yoga classes, including beginners' courses, guided Ashtanga, restorative, Iyengar, and Jivamukti. The intro course guides newbie yogites step-by-step into the yoga practice with basic poses like the Omniscient Narrator and the Stovepipe Hat. You'll learn about the special yogic breathing system, proper bodily alignment, and the spiritual tradition of yoga. Restorative yoga uses an assortment of props along with yoga postures to allow the body to naturally release tension and stress. All Miami Life Center's Ashtanga Yoga teachers have been to India to study with Ashtanga's living master, Sri K Pattabhi Jois. The staff are mind and body experts who know stretches to make the body more comfortable than a La-Z-Boy made from a down hot tub. Plus, the studio is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with neutral colors, sophisticated furniture, and plenty of natural light.
