- $85 for a five-hour multi-state Permit to Carry certification-class package for one, valid at the Maple Grove location ($175 value)

The course package includes a resource packet, range fees, eye and ear protection, one-on-one coaching, target, and certificate of completion, plus a rental firearm with ammunition. For the first four hours of class, students meet with instructors for a classroom-based lesson that covers the basics of using a handgun and legal knowledge on handgun possession, concealment, and self-defense. Afterward, the group heads to the range and goes through a shooting qualification exercise, where safe use of a handgun is tested through a shooting qualification. For the two-person option, each individual gets their own complete package. Available rental firearms include a .22-caliber pistol and a 9-millimeter pistol.
Students can also opt for an online training option called a “Hybrid class”. This allows them to complete the classroom portion online at any time, and then register for a quick in-person shooting qualification to complete the class at their convenience.
