About Modo Yoga Square One
The idea belonged to two individuals, both already living eco-conscious, ethical lives: to grow studios into the global community and to help students find how yoga makes them feel. So began Modo Yoga, a family of more than 65 independent, eco-conscious hot yoga studios that spans the globe.
Modo Yoga Square One is part of that family. Its instructors employ the Modo yoga style, which was created specifically to work well in a heated room. Standard procedure is to work through the 40 poses over the course of 90 minutes, but the staff also condense the sequence into 60- and 75-minute sessions. Meanwhile, specialty classes incorporate some fun, unexpected twists. Modo music, for example, is set to live music, while Modo flow incorporates Vinyasa-style yoga, where students sync breath and movement to boost cardiovascular endurance.
