Serena Sun has nearly 30 years of music background, and is the winner of the 25th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. She has taught students ages 3 to 73 at multiple music academies. She has performed and competed across the country in piano and voice, and gives public seminars on mental health. Her experience adds expertise and creativity to her lessons. She blends Russian, Chinese, and American music methods, focusing on strong foundations, steady progress, and building confidence in each student. Being able to foster each students strengths while making lessons fun, she has taken students from beginner level to auditioning and performing in the National Childrens Choir, winning talent shows, giving presentations in front of large audiences, and more.
With a background in music, psychology, personal development, and life coaching, she founded the mental-health organization Breaking Taboo and has worked with various youth and community programs. She knows how to foster confidence while developing talent and discipline with engaging and fun methodologies.
