In a room of intimate tables bathed in warm, yellow light, Mythos dedicates itself to authentic dishes and family. A sister duo of owner and chef, it shares family recipes for classic dishes like its braised lamb which is slow-cooked bone-in among fresh tomatoes until the the meat falls from the bone. This BYOB tavern starts the meal with saganaki before moving to such dishes as souvlaki—pork or chicken marinated in the house blend of herbs and served with rice pilaf—and then finishes with a small cup of rich Greek coffee.
