Learn what your genes say about your health and that of your family with dozens of personalized health reports, and receive ethnicity and genealogy insights with MyHeritage DNA. Here’s how it works: activate your kit and complete a Health Questionnaire online. A physician will confidentially review your questionnaire. Collect a 2-minute cheek swab at home and mail the sample in the enclosed envelope to the MyHeritage DNA lab. A physician will review your results and may recommend genetic counseling, which is included in the price of the test. Your results will be available on your secure online MyHeritage account in 3–4 weeks.

Each kit provides:
- Comprehensive health reports: Dozens of detailed reports that explain your risk of developing a genetic health condition or passing one on to your children. The reports include common conditions such as heart disease, female breast cancer, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes. This information can empower you and your family to make lifestyle choices that may help reduce your risk of developing these conditions.
- Physician oversight and genetic counseling: A physician from the independent clinician network PWNHealth will confidentially review your Health Questionnaire. They will also review your results before they’re released to you and determine whether genetic counseling is advised. If genetic counseling is recommended, a phone or video consultation with a genetic counselor from PWNHealth is included at no additional cost.
- Ethnicity Estimate: Your unique ethnic breakdown from among the 42 supported ethnicities. The results are presented with an original, animated experience, and portrays which percentage of your DNA originates from different regions around the world.
- DNA Matching: MyHeritage DNA’s matching technology uncovers little-known relatives based on the percentage of DNA that you share. In addition to showing how closely you may be related, the technology estimates your familial relationship. You can connect with your newfound relatives to learn more about your family and discover shared ancestors.
- Private and secure: When you test with MyHeritage, your DNA is analyzed in their CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory in the United States. Your account and personal data are protected by multiple layers of encryption and stored on secure servers. You are the sole owner of your DNA data and you can delete it permanently at any time. MyHeritage is the only consumer DNA company that has pledged never to sell data to insurance companies. MyHeritage will never share your data with any third parties without your explicit consent.
- Optional Health subscription: New reports are added every few months, including some reports which are exclusive to MyHeritage. The optional Health subscription gives you access to all future health reports as they are released, for as long as you keep the subscription.
