A: This concept was created to address common complaints regarding average “paint and sip” classes.
-a room fee vs per-person gives you complete control of the guest list
-each person paints, in oil paint, what they choose instead of everyone following along and painting the same image
-a 30 minute education happens before you start painting
-your instructor has a BA in art education, experience teaching and 18+ years of bar tending experience so he will keep the education and complimentary beverages flowing for your whole 4 hours

Birthday party package, age 5 and up (one adult per 4 children is required). 8 participants maximum.
Your group of up to 8 students will be hosted in a real artist‘s studio located in Cincinnati’s premier art center, The Pendleton Art Center. Attendees will go step-by-step with their instructor as they paint (agreed upon beforehand) an acrylic painting to suit their interests/theme of the event.
COVID INFO:The room is sanitized after each class so you are walking into a safe space. This is a communal event so please invite guests you are comfortable spending time with in closer proximity than 6 feet. Your instructor will have a mask on the whole time but your group can decide if you want to wear them.

When you book a class/event with Not Your Average “Paints and Sip” Class, you should expect an experience so personalized that each visit is different than the last. This small business is owned and operated by a Cincinnati native who has a background in teaching art, oil painting, entertaining and bar tending.
With a deliberate focus on removing the anxiety from your experience, students are able relax and grow. Many realize the issue was never art “isn’t for me”, but feeling anxious and outside of their comfort zone was what was not for them. you will be provided education and personal attention both before and during your event.
When learning to paint with your family/friends in a warm and inviting space with a complimentary bar is what you get to focus on, why would you go to a traditional paint and sip?
