Jeff philosophy is to learn the fundamentals and how to read music so you can play any song. He is classically trained but don’t worry he is not stuffy and ridged.

I am a 59 year old woman who has always wanted to learn to play the drums. Better late than never, right? I've taken 6 lessons with Jeff so far and am having an absolute blast! I've learned how to read music on my first lesson! Jeff is a great instructor. He is knowledgeable, patient, intuitive and best of all FUN! I look forward to my lessons each week! Thanks Jeff! Jeff is awesome! I wanted to learn drums for a long time and decided at 32 it was time. I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to learn or missed my window but Jeff has been a great teacher. His technique will get you reading music in the first half hour, even if you’ve never read sheet music before. He is incredibly patient, kind, and a wonderful source of drum knowledge. Not everyone who can play an instrument can teach others to do the same, but Jeff has figured out how to do both and to do them well!
