Class is perfect for beginners and will include:
- An introduction to clay, pottery, and how to throw simple shapes on the wheel.
- 3+ lbs of clay to create basic forms like bowls or small vases.
- All materials, tools, and equipment (including the wheel) are provided.

- Firing is not included in the class—at the end, you get to choose what you’d like to do next and pay a $10 fee to fire with glaze your pieces.
- During the class, you’ll have up to 2, maybe 3 attempts (time permitting and depending on your progress) to create pieces. At the end of the session, you’ll have the option to fire and finish any pieces for $10 each. The Aftermath – if you choose to pay for firing
Please be patient, pottery takes time!
The process to prepare your pieces takes about 6 weeks. Please be patient and do not contact Ocisly Ceramics Studio until then. They're a small team trying to process pieces as fast as ceramics can be processed, and it is hard for us to keep up with incoming communications.
You will receive an email from the team once your pieces are ready with pick-up information. Please sign up with an email that you actively check.
