About Orleans and York Deli in Inglewood
Sami Othman, owner of Orleans and York Deli, has a rich history in the deli industry from coast to coast with decades of experience under his belt. Starting at the youthful age of 10, Othman began working at his family-owned New York based deli, eventually opening up his own chain of markets in the area as a teenager.
Today, Sami continues to serve homemade sandwiches but in a different setting, fusing flavors and nation-wide cultures with his New York and New Orleans inspired deli centered on the west coast. His new California-located spot specializes in serving heros piled high on fresh bread and creole style po boys, with a range of plates from the classic shrimp po boy to the NYC reuben topped with pastrami, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and finished off with Russian dressing.
