Perspectives Charter Schools is a network of five tuition-free, grades 6–12 public charter schools in Chicago, dedicated to bringing top-tier education to the city's under-served areas. The dedication is paying off—of the 2010 senior class, 95 percent graduated and nearly all of those graduates have enrolled in college. Team sports are a key component of Perspectives' approach to academic success, with athletics teaching personal responsibility, self-discipline, productivity, conflict resolution, and perseverance. Throughout Perspectives' five schools, more than 600 total student-athletes compete on 45 teams in such sports as football, basketball, rugby, softball, baseball, track, soccer, wrestling, cheerleading, and volleyball.

Recent funding cuts, however, have jeopardized the future of Perspectives' athletic programs—many of the teams are now relying on donations to cover expenses such as transportation and uniforms.

Join G-Team to help Perspectives student-athletes compete with pride. Each donation of $10 will go toward providing uniforms for Perspectives athletes—one uniform costs $70. Seven donations will provide for one uniform, 105 donations will outfit a girls basketball team, 210 donations will cover the uniforms for a girls basketball team and a boys basketball team, and 330 donations will take care of uniforms for both basketball teams and the cheerleading squad. 100% of donations in this G-Team campaign will go to Perspectives Charter Schools and its squads of rebounders, fast-breakers, and pyramid-builders.
