Bob Levey found himself living in California and missing his beloved hometown classic Philly Cheesesteak after serving in the military. In 1992, Bob and his wife opened Philly's Best and dedicated bringing the taste of Philly to California. Each cheesesteak starts with an Amoroso roll—imported from the Philadelphia—and stuffed with thinly sliced steak and melted American cheese. Diners pick from a selection of burgers, salads, and fries.
