• The Wellness Consultation includes muscle testing and range of motion evaluation to identify each client’s unique needs. Understanding these needs we, as a team formulate the most effective Bodywork experience. A specialty Plan of Care will be created with ongoing stretch and exercise routine recommendations
• Katherine Mendoza, the owner of Mind Your Body Wellness is passionate about assisting clients on the path to complete and utter relaxation of body and mind. At her clinic, she offers a variety of bodywork modalities ranging from classic Swedish massage to Myofascial Therapy and Reiki. She also performs careful and thorough posture evaluations to help clients improve their range of movement and to find the root causes of chronic pain.

About Mind Your Body Wellness
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We offer a variety of Specialty Massage Treatments. The most common is the "Swedish/Esalen" that lulls the client with smooth, firm strokes. The "Therapuetic" offers deep pressure that helps work out tension and stress. The "Hot Stone and Warm Bamboo" each use heat to help melt trigger points away.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Strangely enough, my career as a therapist turned into a business because I was always thinking, "I can give so much more to my clients." Working at other establishments I always felt the time constraints of appointments. If a client could benefit from some Aromatherapy or Reiki, My hands were tied.
What do you love most about your job? I absolutely love the ability to help each client to escape from the world even if it's only for an hour or so. The relationships that emerge from seeing my clients week after week, month after month to watch their transformations is truly rewarding.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? _Oh my! After 20+ years you've heard a lot, from mumbled marriage proposals to "OMG, I think I'm floating!" But the absolute best was when the Lottery was at an incredible high. " I'm going to win the lottery, buy you a house next door to mine so I can have a massage anytime I want." _
