The instructors at Pilates-Barre Studio share backgrounds in ballroom dancing and fitness to help clients hone coordination and balance while building strength. The spacious studio—stocked with foam rollers, resistance bands, and other Pilates equipment—hosts mat classes, equipment classes, and personalized one-on-one sessions for Pilates and barre students of all skill levels. Classes are also available via Skype for those students that would prefer to practice the in the privacy of their own toolshed. The studio's curriculum is based on MELT method exercises, which pinpoint muscles in the hands and feet to alleviate chronic pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and toy-piano recitals.
