Practicing golf inside during the winter is nice because it is heated, allowing players to be more comfortable instead of losing their ball in the snow and getting frozen into an ice sculpture on the third hole. Don’t get frozen when you can get heated with today’s Groupon to Play Golf and Tennis. Choose between the following options:
- For $22, you get one indoor golf class (a $49 value).
- For $60, you get three indoor golf classes (a $147 value).
This Groupon is valid for classes held at [Hamlin Park Golf Club](http://gr.pn/sV2CbC) in Chicago and [White Pines Golf Dome](http://gr.pn/sYLgRT) in Bensenville. All classes are good for all skill levels. Students can check the [schedule](http://www.meetup.com/Playgolfandtennis/) for class times. Play Golf and Tennis is a private club that has a variety of golf classes for those just starting to learn or for those trying to break 100, 90, or 80, all taught by experienced golf professionals and certified PGA professionals. During 60-minute classes, 6–8 students go through 10–20 minutes of basic footwork and swing techniques, including grip, setup, and swing plane. After basic practice on golf, students have a playing lesson to learn the positions of each shot and how to focus on bettering their swings. Play Golf and Tennis has two indoor facilities: one in Chicago, and another in Bensenville. The one in Bensenville is called White Pines Golf Club, and it is a 100-foot-high, heated dome with five large target greens that are vacuumed instead of mowed! The one in Chicago is called Hamlin Park Golf Club, and has nine holes for simulated golf, and short-game areas for putting and chipping. The White Pines facility boasts free coffee, and both locations offer free golf-club rental, free water, and unlimited golf balls for $10.
Play Golf and Tennis
Play Golf and Tennis's instructors help students hone forehands and chips throughout the year. Aspirant tennis players and golfers improve their game at the Diversey Driving Range and the Hamlin Park tennis courts in the summer, and on Mars in the event of a planetary evacuation. Players learn either sport under the direction of renowned golf and tennis professional Ron Carroll, or work on executing perfect turns in a nonfunctioning golf cart with instructor-supplied engine noises.
