History is extremely important at Presidio Pizza Company. Not only did the eatery take its name from the Spanish fort that founded San Francisco, but even the very building itself is awash with reminders of yesteryear. During renovations, the owners sought to keep its original redwood walls and re-purposed wood from the site into a wooden bar where they now serve up their pies. But Presidio Pizza Company isn't only concerned with the past—it also hopes to make its own history as a place for the community to gather over fresh food.
