Q&A with Tim, Owner

What made you want to work with food? When did you first develop that passion?
Coming from a foodie family, I learned to bake at my mothers side, where my sisters and I would eagerly await the wooden spoon at the end of mixing. These feelings of family always accompany when i bake and give me immense enjoyment.

What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
We don't take ourselves too seriously. We have fun while we work and enjoy a good laugh. If our customers are laughing, we are happy.

In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
Our panini are created with the gourmet in mind. We use the best ingredients, such as roast beef and blue cheese, duck with mushroom, and roast chicken with asparagus and brie. Our cooking classes are fun and informative, and give you the confidence to cook macarons at home.

Super fun truffle class! Had snacks, learned a lot of great tips, and ate lots of chocolate on the drive home :)

I learned great tips in terms of properly making macarons and was able to successfully recreate them at home; however, we were unable to choose the flavourings or colourings of our macarons and some of the flavours weren't very tasteful or authentic so we were left taking home around 24 macarons with not so great flavours.
