- $149 for a six-hour relaxation-massage course for two (a $299 value)
In a romantic setting with twinkling candles and soothing music, a massage instructor teaches students how to administer a full-body relaxation massage. The instructor teaches professional techniques, such as how to knead your partner without tiring out your thumbs. Unlike a last-minute gift, such as a “Get Well” card and flower from the neighbour’s yard, the course or the resulting knowledge from the course make for a perfect, pre-planned Valentine’s Day present.
Classes are available January 27, February 3, or February 10 from noon to 6 p.m. Each participant receives a $400 voucher to be used toward a 5- or 10-day Raynor Massage course. Individual options purchased will be paired up for the course.

About Raynor Massage
Within Raynor Massage's new and expanded facility, international massage instructor Terry Masson and his team practices a modality called Raynor Massage. This unique brand of bodywork strays from traditional techniques used in registered massage therapy. Naturopath Brandon Raynor developed this system to resolve bodily and emotional tension with deep pressure applied at the patient's tolerance threshold. Raynor Massage calls for some degree of patient participation through directed breathing, a practice familiar to Masson through his experience with yoga, qigong, and having a pulse. He believes that his method is more effective than traditional massage therapy and can help clients eliminate chronic pain caused by injuries, increase mobility, and overcome tension and stress. World-class athletes agree. Since 2007, he's incorporated the modality while working with Olympic athletes and members of the British Women's National Rowing team.
