The story behind Right Bee Cider goes something like this: Boy meets girl; boy makes cider to woo girl. Now the boy and girl are married and he's right beside her at Chicago's first cidery. Here, they're obsessive about perfecting cider. It all starts with a blend of fresh-pressed American-grown apples which are fermented with champagne-style yeast. Sometimes they add honey. Sometimes they add fruit. Sometimes they don't add anything else! It's all made the old-fashioned way at this urban cidery that's housed in an old brick building, and they bottle, label, and package it all here, too. Plus, there are five bee hives on the roof of the building that supply all the honey, and while it's not easy to get to, it's well worth it to harvest the local honey.
