RockVentures features an enormous indoor rock-climbing facility that sprawls like a stalactite mountain range across 18,000 square feet of colorfully studded climbing surface. Instructors who have trained groups from the University of Virginia, the California Department of Education, and international companies teach the Introductory Course, which covers 10 basic cliffhanging techniques, safety skills, belaying procedures, and various drills for self-improvement and making yourself appear taller. After the course, use an additional admission to develop your rock-scaling talent and increase vertical versatility on rock-wall faces with more than 50 hanging ropes that reach up to 42 feet. RockVentures members receive free harness and shoe rental throughout their three-month membership to support unlimited scaling.
Kilimanjaro parties tantalize the vertically inclined with 90 minutes of climbing for 10 people. Each group gets two rope holders, or guests can train to hold the ropes for each other, while partiers scramble up to new heights, where they can scout the choicest slices of birthday cake. After climbing, celebrators can regain the ground for a half-hour of fun with two slices of pizza, drinks, and party favors.

About RockVentures
At RockVentures, climbers of all ages and experience levels scale challenge-filled walls lining the 18,000-square-foot facility. Classes impart students with surefooted spirit and fundamental climbing skills such as belaying the rope for comrades. In addition to individual challenges, the center hosts several group events, ranging from team-building weekends to kids' birthday parties and summer camps. Rock Ventures grants discounted admission to veterans and their families with advance reservation on Saturday mornings, and helps disabled climbers conquer the rocks by using block-and-tackle systems to hoist themselves up.
Owner Kent Winchester informs his work at RockVentures with a multifaceted history of leadership and team-building experience, including a stint in the Peace Corps.
