- Holistic techniques heal mind, body, and spirit
While it doesn't provide the discomfort and high ticket prices associated with an airport pat-down, a massage is still an effective tool for discovering concealed knives and small firearms. Prove you’re not packing in the most relaxing way with today’s Groupon: for $20, you get a 60-minute relaxation massage (a $90 value) at Rubin Health Center in St. Petersburg.
Once you've retreated to their tranquil facility for the 60-minute relaxation massage, Rubin Health Center's experienced staff of licensed muscle repair-persons will employ dexterous digits and powerful mitts to mend creaky tissues and knotty hinges in all the body's needy epidermal sanctuaries. Each therapist stresses holistic health of the entire corpus—and uses smooth, soothing movements to clear up stressful traffic jams between the mind, body, and spirit. As they target the most troubling deposits of tension—political or otherwise—within your skeleton's flesh-jar, they'll knead the skin gently and gingerly in order to restore your body to a nubile state of relaxed joyousness, unlike any you've experienced since you got your braces removed.
Rubin has been in the body-bending business for more than 10 years, and their therapeutic ministrations help part the mind's pea soup with a moment of clarity that will live long beyond your visit to them. Use your newfound clear-headedness and rubberized being to achieve higher productivity, contagiously relax those around you, or finally beat Galaga. Call ahead to schedule your appointment at least 48 hours in advance.
Existing patients may use today's deal if they have not previously received massage therapy. Cancellations and changes require at least a 24 hours' notice, or the Groupon is forfeited.

About Rubin Health Center
An active healer since 1994, Doctor of Chiropractic Scott A. Rubin hasn’t slowed down since the day he graduated cum laude from Life Chiropractic College. He then went on to complete post-grad studies in kinesiology and acupuncture, earn certifications as a power-Pilates instructor and yoga instructor, and achieve a black belt in wado kai karate. At his side is Dr. Michael Gars, a Florida State University and Life College graduate who has serviced triathletes with various techniques since 1994. All of these endeavors have added to Dr. Rubin’s holistic understanding of the human body and its wellness—an expansive knowledge that he brings to his practice at Rubin Health Center. There, he teams up with a nutritionist and licensed massage therapists to help clients reach their full wellness potential, rather than continue to live in the pain they’ve suffered since attempting to pogo stick down their staircase.
The experts personalize these plans by starting with a head-to-toe structural assessment for each patient. Depending on a client’s needs, habits, and complaints, the professionals then recommend treatments and therapies that range from chiropractic adjustments to active isolated stretching therapy. The center also focuses on time-tested healing techniques such as massages to ease stress and chronic pain, and acupuncture sessions to allay arthritis and anxiety. Yet the health gurus understand that prevention is key, and to that end augment their personal treatments with the yoga, Pilates, tai chi, and nutrition classes that take place in the center’s second-floor studio.
