What You'll Get
For $35, today's side deal to Sangha Space gets you your choice of a two-session Argentine tango crash course or a 10-week intro to Argentine tango class (a $120 value). The studio is located in Media, just about 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, assuming an average speed of shimmy.
Sangha Space's Argentine tango crash course will teach the time-crunched all the stylized Buenos Aires boogie basics, setting you up with the right tools to passionately spin and pivot through more-advanced levels with dagger-sharp footwork. The crash course will meet for two four-hour sessions: on Sunday, June 20, and Sunday, June 27, from 1–5 p.m. Those with busy Sunday schedules may register for the 10-week intro to Argentine tango course, which meets once a week on Wednesday from 8–9:30 p.m. Partners aren't required, but Argentine tango is a social dance, so you're bound to leave the studio with exciting, strengthened relationships, be they new or old. Pre-registration is required; call ahead to reserve your spot in class.
Classes subject to availability.

About Sangha Space
It all began with a single dance. In 2005, the owners of Sangha Space held their first Tango Hop, a gathering of dancers meant to celebrate the movements of Latin America's most influential dances. That love of physical motion couldn't be contained in a single party; the movement gave birth to a fully functional dance and movement studio. Today, students still learn to tango, but classes also include lessons in swing and belly dancing. Sangha Space is also home to a dedicated yoga school, with instructors hosting a full schedule of classes suitable for beginners and experts alike.
