What You'll Get
Snowboarders have long followed the tradition of catching the first snowflake of winter on one’s tongue, followed by allowing the first snowboard of the X Games to grind upon it. Prepare your ride for varied terrain with today’s Groupon to Satellite Board Shop in Boulder. Choose between the following options:
- For $10, you get a ski or snowboard waxing and full edge sharpening (a $20 value).
- For $20, you get a full ski or snowboard tune-up, including base grind, Ptex repairs, waxing, and full edge sharpening (a $40 value).
Customers who do not remove their conveyance’s bindings before dropping it off will incur an additional $5 fee.
Satellite Board Shop’s shredding staff dispenses gear for high-speed slope traversal, along with repair and maintenance services to keep equipment in snowshape. During each of the services, technicians wax the skis’ or snowboard’s base, readying them to glide gracefully over powder and enemy snowmen. The technician then grinds down the entire edge to its preferred sharpness, granting improved response when carving through a fluffy, snow-capped peak. Complete tune-ups continue onto an application of hot liquid Ptex, which fills in nicks and gouges carved by vandalizing mountain rocks, the tire slashers of snow sports. Concluding the overhaul, the skismiths then grind down the entire base to an even plane, allowing rides to smoothly skim across packed terrain.

About Satellite Board Shop
Putting trust in Satellite Board Shop is a no-brainer when you know that the University of Colorado snowboard team entrusts it with all their tune-ups. Satellite technicians show all their customers the same level of professionalism and care when waxing boards, tuning up skis, or explaining that a “snowboard” isn’t the legislative branch of winter presided over by Jack Frost.
Satellite also stocks plenty of new snowboards and skateboards including the Never Summer Cobra board, designed to handle any mountain terrain, and the Anti Hero skateboard deck emblazoned with a giant bee. In addition, Satellite can outfit customers with T-shirts, shoes, and sunglasses as well as fleece-lined jackets that keep them warm when they accidentally build themselves into an igloo.
