Our party had a great time on our segway tour. Hannah was our guide and she was excellent! She gave us plenty of time in a safe area to get our footing on our segways. We appreciated her upbeat personality, humor, and fun facts during our tour. We did not feel rushed at all in fact Hannah kindly extended our trip a little bit so we could take pictures and enjoy the beautiful fountain at the end of the tour. This was a perfect way to see a huge part of Chicago. We really enjoyed it and will definitely request Hannah on our next visit.

Unlike taking the subway, riding a Segway doesn't require you to sit next to someone gibbering about hamburgers or someone trying to inconspicuously sketch your right boot. Keep strangers out of your peripheral vision while you see the city with today’s Groupon: for $39, you get a Park Glide Segway tour (a $70 value) from Segway Experience of Chicago, located on South Michigan Avenue. Tours run seven days a week and begin at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m., and potential walkway-warriors should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time. Tours go for two hours but can be shortened to accommodate for inclement weather.

Segway Experience of Chicago's two-hour Park Glide tour offers a chance to view a collection of Chicago landmarks from the graceful perch of a surprisingly swift Segway. After you mount your gently whirring steel horse, follow your guide as he leads the pack through some of the Second City’s most recognizable structures and locations. You’ll head past Millennium Park, named for the amount of time it took George Washington's parents to forgive him for chopping down that cherry tree, and admire the Cloud Gate sculpture commonly known as the Cloud Gate sculpture. Buckingham Fountain and Grant Park’s Rose Gardens are also on the route, as is the museum campus, home to the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, and the Museum of Soap Sculptures of Scottie Pippen.
