What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We teach traditional Japanese Karate that focuses on body confidence, self-esteem, and character development. "Karate spirit and mind are more important than technique". Karate-do is a way of life that builds courage to be EXTRAORDINARY. We especially welcome girls (6+) and women of all ages.

What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
Upon signing up with your Groupon, we will pay your first year's dues with the ISKF (International Shotokan Karate Federation) and your uniform (gi). On your first class, wear comfortable workout clothes. Please bring a water bottle.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I fell in love with Karate as it helped me though major life's obstacles. It gave me structure for focus, discipline and fitness that I never had growing up. The confidence I gained in karate helps me in all aspects of my life and career. It's time for me to give back those same benefits to you.

What do you love most about your job?
I love watching students find self-love and self-confidence in the mastery and the precision of karate. Something amazing happens as you find trust in yourself and in your body. Our company gives 10% of sales to help women entrepreneurs recovering from domestic violence or drug/alcohol addiction.
