What You'll Get
Once common, sewing has become an elite skill, reserved only for royalty, superheroes, and makers of highly flammable cookware. Light the flame of a new hobby with today's deal: for $20, you get a punch card for six sewing and/or quilting classes at EZ Knit Fabrics and Sew EZ Too, located in Colville and Spokane, respectively (a $42 value). With this Groupon, you can take one complete series of classes, or mix and match between the two.
Textile tyros get tutored on the intricacies of stitching and sewing-machine wrangling at EZ Knit and Sew EZ Too’s open-format classes for a variety of skill levels. Future fashion designers and frequent pants splitters can let Nana off the hook by toting personal sewing machines (if they own one) and a darning venture of choice to the open sewing classes. A sewing sultan from Bernina will be on hand to dole out advice and expedite the completion of projects, whether they require extensive seam work, a subtle hem, or a third leg.
Quilting class follows the same format, but with the classic American blanket in the limelight. A coverlet-creating veteran will aid in the crafting of a time-capsule-worthy heirloom, whether it is squared off from new fabric, old quilts, or ancient papyrus scrolls.
Open sewing classes occur Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Quilting classes are held Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Additional classes may be added based on demand or political pressure from fabric tycoons.

About Sew E-Z Too
The staff at Sew E-Z Too helps its students wield sewing needles, knitting needles, and crochet hooks to create cloth jewelry, bags, and other decorative pieces. Classes meet inside Sew E-Z Too, a cloth and fabric emporium that holds enough material to supply larger projects, such as a warm knit shawl or a quilted cozy for the family car. The store stocks dozens of brands from Mike Canetty Textiles to Cranston Village, and the pro knitters and stitchers in the shop are on hand to offer advice and tips.
