• Medical Massage Therapy is an outcome-based massage that uses the focused application of advanced massage techniques, primarily targeting specific problems like sciatica, migraines, and old rotator cuff injuries. This session can be prescribed by a physician or performed after a postural assessment by a Certified Medical Massage Therapist. The blend of techniques increases the range of motion, improves neck and back pain, and reduces piriformis syndrome.

• Swedish massage uses long strokes with light-to-firm pressure to provide gentle relaxation.

• Warm Stone Massage is an ancient practice that places heated natural Basalt stones over precise points along the body with smooth-flowing massage strokes. The soothing pressure creates a deep relaxation and releases stress within the body and mind. Benefits include help with back pain and improvements with depression and/or anxiety.

• During a Deep Tissue Massage, the therapist applies specific techniques to release tension deep within the muscles. Firm pressure slowly applied gains access to the deeper layers of muscle tissue that contribute to the body’s overall stability.
