About Space Girl Organics

Vowing to help the local farmer, Space Girl Organics serves as a middleman between the fruits of the field and customers looking for organically grown produce delivered straight to their door. Combining the fruits and vegetables of these farmers’ labor, Space Girl Organics creates five produce boxes that come in sizes suitable for feeding a single person or arming a family for a tomato fight. The shop allows clients to customize their box from the weekly selection of in-season produce, forgoing the broccoli they dislike for more leafy greens or opting to add in specialty items such as oyster mushrooms and kiwi berries. To prevent neighbors from going hungry, staff members gather together all of the produce not included in clients’ weekly drop-off for donation to a local soup kitchen and food-distribution center.
