The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but to make it that far you have to be disguised as baked goods. With today's Groupon, you get a six-inch cake for $11 from SugarBakers Cakes in Catonsville (up to a $22 value).

Over the past 14 years, artistic designer and owner Jamie Williams and her team have made a name for themselves in the Baltimore area creating sculptural sweets and custom 3-D birthday cakes. Get a taste of their whimsical creations with a half-foot-long cake from their varied selection, which includes the traditional Baltimore Pimlico Hotel cake of moist yellow cake with fresh pastry cream and fudge icing, the amaretto raspberry cake (an almond caked layered with amaretto butter cream and European raspberry filling), and the classic ivory cake, a tusk-free twist on the French butter cream traditional.

About SugarBakers Cakes

Owner and artistic director Jamie Williams found her true calling in SugarBakers Cakes. With a background in design and a degree in culinary arts, she's especially suited to lead the talented cake artists that craft each of the bakery's edible masterpieces.

From towering wedding cakes covered in sugar pearls and satin candy bows to 3-D cakes that resemble digital cameras or baseball stadiums, it's easy to forget the designs are crafted from moist cake and frosting. Perhaps that's why the bakery has been featured in many prominent magazines and on national television shows, including the Today show and Whose Wedding is it Anyway?
