Great experience for the grand-kids

Children unleash creativity on cupcakes using provided sprinkles & icing; bakers craft custom cake from 10 flavors, 11 fillings & 6 icings

The tradition of cutting cakes began as a way to assure suspicious monarchs that their dessert was not, in fact, a cleverly disguised magna carta with an “Eat Me if You Agree” clause. Tuck into a piece of history with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

 • $20 for a children’s cake-decorating party for up to six children (a $42 value)
 • $12 for $25 toward a custom gourmet cake

At a communal table, a staff decorator guides kids as they adorn one small cake each with provided icing and sprinkles. For the custom gourmet cake, design a 6-inch round cake ($25), 12-inch round cake ($60), or quarter-rectangle sheet cake ($45) from flavors that include chocolate, red velvet, or snickerdoodle, fillings such as custard or strawberry jam, and buttercream icings such as vanilla, peanut butter, or mocha.

About Sugar N Spice Creations

After honing her baking and decorating skills for more than a decade at a French-pastry shop in the New York City suburbs, Sugar N Spice Creations’ owner, Chris M'Gonigle, started her own cakes, cookies, and pastries business. Along with a team of adept decorators, Chris squeezes colored icing into intricate floral bouquets and coaxes seasonal figures such as turkeys, snowmen, and hearts. She and her staff pass on their baking acumen to visitors in cookie- and cupcake-decorating classes, where they demonstrate how to create icing designs and ancient baker hieroglyphs.
