I've found better versions of their Kale Chips elsewhere. They've repackaged their product in big plastic jars which seems inconsistent for a healthy food product.
  • Raw and organic
  • Full of antioxidants
  • Strengthens immunity
  • Unprocessed, unfiltered & unheated

Honey is the nectar of the gods, beating out early frontrunners such as baby tears and Chanel No. 5. Get your hands on your own jar of ambrosia with today's Groupon: for $12, you get $24 worth of local Arizona honey at The Health Foodie. Redeem your Groupon for sweet, sticky indulgence at one of The Health Foodie's many area farmer's markets, with honey selections available ($12 a jar) on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Health Foodie's three available honeys are 100% raw, unfiltered, and unprocessed—whereas commercial or even raw honeys on the market are heated to ease the packaging process, this honey is hand-packed and bottled without heat. This results in a full-flavored honey with natural insulin properties. Desert wildflower is a pungent composite of 40 wild desert nectars, creating a delicate balance of sweetness appropriate for drizzling over Greek yogurt or patching a pair of jeans.

Health Foodie's other two sweet stickies offered are the Palo Verde variety, rich in pollen with clover and butterscotch notes, and the elusive raw saguaro blossom honey, with hints of butter, cream, and cactus.

Reviews

The Health Foodie has been mentioned in Running Quest and Kitchen Confidante:

  • Each one was so delicious, so different, so unlike the honey I grew up eating. Even my daughter, who is not exactly one to dip her finger in the honey jar, was a veritable Pooh Bear, sampling each one with such enthusiasm, I couldn’t help but laugh! – Liren, Kitchen Confidante
  • Health foodie, which is the parent company to honey and gold, will be releasing and producing foods that satisfy both gourmands and health aficionados. Truly gourmet food can be mindfully created to enhance the health of our nation. – Clynton, Running Quest
