Like a potato, if the human body is not properly mashed and moisturized, it will never be used for anything more than a science-project battery. Make sure your body is properly fluffed and buttered with today's soothing Groupon: for $90, you get a 70-minute Organic Facial and Extremity-Remedy Treatment (up to a $180 value) at either The Raven Spa in Silver Lake or El León Spa in West Hollywood. Both spa locations feature serene Zen-like rooms, along with an attentive, experienced staff that will make sure each fleshoskeleton leaves in tip-top shape. Organic facial options include the Indian Ayurvedic facial ($110–$125, prices vary by spa) and the Organic California Facial ($110–$125). The Indian Ayurvedic is an ancient detoxification ritual that nourishes skin with organic Indian herbs, essential oils, fruits, and minerals, and incorporates face, head, and neck massage. The California uses a Juice Beauty–brand green-apple facial peel to transform skin into younger-looking skin. Following the facial, massage therapists move to the Extremity Remedy ($55), where feet and hands are washed, scrubbed, and massaged with Dead Sea salts, lavender oil, and pureed glossy magazines.

The open-air entry hall lined with wicker recliners and canvas umbrellas, the billowy white partition curtains in the spacious main room, the trickling antique fountain, and colorful tiles and trim all add up to a secret-Moroccan-hideaway feel. - Featuring a cultural caravan of massage treatments from Thailand, Hawaii, Europe and beyond, El Leon has also cornered the market on organic Ayurvedic facials. About The Raven Spa and El León Spa
Guests arriving to The Raven Spa may find themselves feeling like they've traveled a thousand miles away from their everyday cares. The aesthetic is both spiritual and indulgent, with stone statues that stand sentinel beside a plush purple couch and lush, sun-drenched drapes and glistening chandeliers holding court over an eastern-inspired communal massage chamber. A colorful patio overflowing with exotic flowers welcomes visitors to sit and soak in sunlight streaming between red and white umbrellas, creating a peaceful oasis for quiet reading or self-reflection. "Whoever comes here feels like it's their own," a front desk manager told LX TV's 1st Look, "Our whole goal is to take you away from whatever's out there."
The spa's international decor also mirrors its diverse menu of services, which includes acupuncture, facials, and hammam––a traditional Turkish soak that corrals plant extracts and herbs to nourish and detoxify the body. Therapists work out imbedded muscle kinks through seven varieties of massage including traditional Thai massage, which combines rhythmic kneads with yoga-like stretches and Hawaiian lomi lomi massage, which often sees practitioners using their elbows to nudge tension until it gets the hint and leaves.
