What You'll Get
Since losing wings, humans have been denied their primary appendage for flying and quickly cooling off hot burritos. Today's Groupon flouts flightlessness for $10 with an unlimited one-day ride pass (up to a $22.95 value) at historic Belmont Park on Mission Boulevard in Mission Beach. Invigorating entertainment meets sunshine at the seashore, where Belmont Park's fantastic rides provide high-flying thrills.
Children and inner-children are unleashed for limitless rides on all 10 popular attractions including Speedway Bumper Cars and the Vertical Plunge. Belmont Park started in the 1920s, when rollycoasters were called "whimsy buggies" and cotton candy was known as "sweet fluffs." Rides such as the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster and the Liberty Carousel are still imbued with the nostalgic buzz of the Jazz Age. The Tilt-A-Whirl spins passengers into the era when flagpole sitting was all the rage, and the Thunder Boats cool off summertime maritime pleasures.
Temper four consecutive rollycoaster rides with a tussle on the swinging Beach Blaster or simply sit back and let the sights and sounds take you on a ride made of sunshine. A wealth of boardwalk eateries replenish thrill seekers between hearty helpings of all-you-can-ride. Call in advance if you're seeking fun in a group of more than 25 people.
- It's just a small collection of rides and stuff near the beach that's a lot of fun. – Everyguy, TripAdvisor
- Belmont Park is most fun on summer nights when the balmy breeze comes in from the ocean and you're walking around the boardwalk. It is an [sic] carnival like atmosphere and popular with locals and tourists. Arlene K., Insider Pages

About Belmont Park
For over 90 years, shrieks of delight have sounded from the pinnacle of Belmont Park's Giant Dipper Roller Coaster as it inches toward its 73-foot drop. Closer to the ground, the Tilt-A-Whirl spins at a furious clip and the carousel makes its leisurely rounds. Like the waves breaking on the shores of Mission Beach—located just steps from the park.
An adjacent arcade returns players to civilization with new and old classics such as Guitar Hero and skeeball. In between rides and games, guests take breaks to snack at Belmont Park's myriad boardwalk eateries or browse the goods of nearby shops.
