About Tina's Health Centre
Tina brings a vast knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to her eponymous health centre. She started her journey in the world of healthcare as a nurse and pharmacist in China, and after 15 years, she found herself drawn to TCM's holistic healing abilities. She went back to school to study acupuncture and herbal medicine for two years, and eventually moved to Toronto, where she opened Tina's Health Wellness Centre to share her passion.
She oversees a team that works to soothe pain and stress with a variety of holistic techniques. They relieve tension and aches with tui na, a form of Chinese bodywork that blends massage, traction, and acupressure techniques, in addition to acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha scraping therapy. With reflexology, they target specific organ systems by precisely kneading points on the feet, and their ionic foot soaks help draw toxins out through the soles of the feet, otherwise known as the body's dumpin' grounds.
