She imparts students with professional tips until 12:30 p.m., when everyone breaks for lunch for one hour, and then finishes the day by leading an afternoon expedition from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. This gives students the opportunity to test out their newfound skills by snapping shots of people, places, and things as Shane and her assistant Damian continue to provide direction and answer questions.
