Our goal at Trainocracy is not to change anyone, but rather to transform your ability to set yourself up for success. We provide the knowledge, tools, and guidance necessary for our clients to make positive lifestyle changes and incorporate the basic principles of wellness into every aspect of their daily lives.
Like any complex ecosystem, wellness cannot be identified by a single factor or event. It cannot be achieved by attaining a certain goal or level of success. "Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit - the realization that everything we do, think, feel, and believe has an effect on our state of well-being." When any part of the wellness ecosystem is underdeveloped or out of sync with the others, you will likely feel unwell.
At Trainocracy, we believe the path to wellness begins not with a workshop or chapter in a book, but rather by recognizing within yourself that, at a very basic level, something is wrong. Whether physical or emotional, in your personal life or professional, the results of being “unwell” can manifest themselves in many ways. From anxiety and nervousness to depression, uncertainty and lack of energy, these feelings can be pronounced or subtle; they can appear only in certain scenarios or as a low-level hum across all aspects of your life.
At this point, you know something is wrong, but chances are you won't know what it is or how to fix it. Fortunately, whatever leads you to this realization, also allows you to take a first step on the journey to a life well-lived. But because this first step comes from within, no one can take it for you. Once you do take this step, however, you can begin to focus on applying the knowledge and tools necessary to change your life.
Upon the realization and acceptance of the need to change, the next step towards wellness is "Reach." You seek help. Either on your own, often reaching out to friends and loved ones, or with the assistance of a lifestyle coach or fitness trainer. Once you find a system or process you feel both at ease with and are motivated by, you can begin to open up to the possibility of changing your life for the better.
At this point, you re-evaluate. By becoming more in tune with yourself and your actions, you become aware of sources of anxiety or dissatisfaction with your life. You learn to see how the choices you make can impact your daily routine. You start to understand what works and what doesn't, at the same time becoming aware of the consequences of your actions.
Once you’ve learned how to control your actions, and adjust reactions, you are ready to isolate and let go of the thoughts and actions that may have been preventing you from attaining your goals. When you understand how your beliefs, habits, and behaviors can negatively influence how you see and react to situations and people in your life, it is easier to let go of them. At this point, you are in the "Release" phase, where you not only have the desire and courage to change, but the clarity to help you make good choices.
It is here you enter the final phase, you "Restore" your identity and reassemble all that is right--for you. It is from this point you can truly transform your life, body, mind, and spirit and incorporate this hard-earned wellness into every aspect of your daily life.
