The ability to breathe underwater gives divers enough time to search sunken ships for buried treasure and for the secret passage to the front of the DMV line. Classes are held at Ralston High School and are scheduled the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Additional classes may be offered on Thursday evenings after 8 p.m. based on demand.

Underwater World's Padi–certified staff helps gill-less humans to develop their sea legs through hands-on scuba instruction. The 90-minute, in-pool Discover Scuba Diving class caters to beginners. Before divers slip under the water's surface, an instructor imparts aquatic fundamentals, such as how to breathe through a regulator and make proper fish faces. Underwater World provides all the necessary gear for skillful submerging, including goggles and air tanks. Those who find themselves under the spell of the sea after the session can continue taking classes with Underwater World, eventually removing their flipper training wheels and exploring bodies of water without a dive-master chaperone.
